ABOUT THE DESIGNER
D.S. Bullock was born in New Hampshire to a respectably dysfunctional family. She paints, writes, makes music and clothing.
Painting:
DSB was educated in painting at Indiana University Bloomington and graduated in 2000. In 2003, while living in New Hampshire again, she managed the Shepherd Studios under the generous patronage of architect and local business person, Bennet Phillips. DSB currently has her painting studio in York County, ME, and has participated in the following shows:

Clothing:
DSB has been designing and making clothing since she was 7 years old. While in college, she started making club and subculture clothing for friends and for sale online. In 1999, DSB started Road Rash Rubber, clothing and accessories made from recycled butyl inner tubes. Her work under the RRR brand has appeared in dozens of conventions, fashion shows, and even several film projects. In 2005, DSB became involved with the Pure Detroit Design Lab and in Fall of that year her Lunatic Fringe collection was featured there. In May of 2006, DSB became the director of the Pure Detroit Design Lab. She has participated in many fashion shows with area Detroit fashion designers including Project ReF@shion Detroit, Detroit Fashion Week, the Chopper Show, Arts Beats & Eats, and the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit. DSB was also involved with the inception of the Detroit Fashion Incubator.
Writing:
DSB writes for several blogs and is currently working on her second and third novels concurrently. Her first novel was awful and will forever live moldering in her filing cabinet until her eventual demise. To follow her personal blogs:
